Gamer sentenced to death

Twenty six year old convicted killer for murdering a 10 year old girl two years ago.

Underwood's case is special in that in 2006, legislatures described the crime as an example of the negative effects of violent video games. What was the game that allegedly drove Underwood to become a murderer? GTA? Postal? None of the usual suspects, it was actually Kingdom of Loathing, a web browser based game where all the characters are drawn as stick figures. It's as unrealistic as it gets.

Underwood's attorney says he suffered from many mental illnesses and was overcome by sexual deviant urges.

"Mr. Underwood suffers from several severe psychiatric disorders....Is there any question that Kevin Ray Underwood was a sick and disturbed young man when he committed this homicide?"

Oh yeah, it was clearly the game's fault.

As an advocate of the death penalty I am pretty happy to read this. Fitting punishment for the crime. To those that oppose the death penalty. I have engaged in that argument too many times and I simply agree to disagree with you.

I'm sure the stick figure game really pushed him over the edge to.
