Dell tries to force take-down of The Consumerist articleMikey no comments
A few days ago The Consumerist posted an article titled 22 Confessions Of A Former Dell Sales Manager, in which a former Dell kiosk manager shared his helpful tips about doing business with Dell. At the time of writing this the article has been viewed 95,000 times.
It seems Dell didn't like what the former manager had to say, despite it not being damaging or factually incorrect, so they are pressuring The Consumerist to kill the article with no legal basis.
Gaby's (from The Consumerist) response is worth reading, and she notes accurately that Dell will suffer far more damage from public back-lash if they take legal issue with the article and force it down, than if they simply walk away from the whole situation while they can.
