While marching through the streets of Khartoum, thousands of knife bearing Islamic extremists are demanding the execution of 'teddy bear' teacher Gillian Gibbons.
Last week Gibbons, a British school teacher located in Sudan, dodged a public flogging but was jailed for 15 days for naming the class teddy bear 'Mohammed'. She had not thought this was anything of concern as several of the children in her class shared the same name. But apparently her actions are an insult to Islam.
Yeah it's pretty insane. You would think they would be smart enough to know it was an honest 'mistake'. Apparently ignorance is no excuse.
