42 reasons the USA won't miss G.W. Bush

POlzine.com are running a funny compilation of reasons why President G.W. Bush won't be missed.

There are the usual illiterate faux pas most of us have probably already seen, but there are also a handful new to me. The best in my opinion:

"I glance at the headlines just to kind of get a flavor for what’s moving. I rarely read the stories, and get briefed by people who are probably read the news themselves."

What did you expect from someone who was a C average student?

Go there now.

I assume the 'c average' you are referring to is street talk for cocane.

Average grade doesn't always really show how smart somebody is. Okay, it MIGHT show it, but on the other hand it might also show how seriously s/he takes it or how lazy s/he is. There are more than a few great minds who have been average in school, but excelled in their forms of art so I wouldn't really compare them to this absolutely uncharacteristic failure called George.

At least his reign is nearly over! I particularly like the top ten, especially the shot of George at the end.

Clearly Michael you could have done a better job than GW since 2001. Please let us know how. And what was your your Grade Point Average (GPA) at university? Just for your information, GW had a higher GPA at Yale than John Kerry (remember him?)

Hi Dion.

It's not my job to be President - it's GW's - and he sucks at it. You don't have to be in the same occupation as someone else to know when they are doing a bad job. Even those below GW's 'intelligence' level can understand that.

@Dion
Why do people who adore Bush always resort to the same tactic when defending him?

"Clinton did this," "Kerry's not as smart," etc....

Why does someone who bashes Bush have to be in favor of his past opponents and rivals? Can't you defend him any other way? Where Michael went to school, or what his GPA was, is irrelevant. Does it matter? Einstein was a genius, but would have been a shitty president. When people call Bush an idiot, they are insulting how horribly he's handled his job, not how well he did in school.

When you defend someone by bashing others, you come across as nasty and it makes your argument less than weak. If you want to defend Bush, please do so with some intelligence, not by trying to elevate him by insulting others. Be creative, come up with 42 reasons that US citizens WILL miss him.

How do you know that he even earned his grades? You don't. And neither do I. Your argument smacks of desperation and lack of intelligence.
