Scientology officially under attack by 'Anonymous' online group
Mikey 11 commentsA collection of online 'warriors' using the moniker 'Anonymous' have began attacking the Church of Scientology by flooding their web site DOS attacks.
The 'Anonymous' group are not new to this sort of trouble, and a Fox news affiliate even went to far with a ludicrous implication that explosive vans were among their arsenal.
The attacks are punishment for the Church's copyright abuse and brainwashing its members. Part of the reason is also because of the 'Church's' blatant attempted censorship of anything that casts them in a bad light, particularly regarding .
The 'Anonymous' group are deadly serious, even issuing a press release and the video below.
Let me be among the many to say kudos to 'Anonymous' for the effort.

Thursday 24th January 2008 | 03:55 PMIt did say they don't expect there campaign to be completed in a short time frame. Hopefully DDoS attack's are just the beginning of worse things to come. Simple warning attacks?

Friday 25th January 2008 | 01:52 AMAnd yet, in a cruel twist of irony, all the attention they have been getting (espcially from slashdot) has in fact caused their own site to become DDoS'd:
http://www.chanenterprises.org/ (24/01/2008) says:

Friday 25th January 2008 | 05:17 AMWe are the guardians of the internet,
Purveyors of cleansing chaos,
None shall stand-- all shall bend, sway; break
In the path of the enumerated throng.
We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
Expect us.

Friday 25th January 2008 | 09:19 AMI'd love to get a hold of some of their banned or hidden literature and find out how these people, who are seemingly not ignoramuses, believe what they do.
Hey Anonymous, when you're done with Scientology, can you spend some time dismantling the Westbro Church in the US.

Friday 25th January 2008 | 09:28 AMJake: The 'Anonymous' group managed to nab the Scientology secret documents. Grab them here:

If that server is unresponsive, just Google the term 'secretdox.rar' as they are all over the place now.

Friday 25th January 2008 | 12:38 PMI don't know how this guy has so much time on his hands. I see Anonymous posting comments almost every site I visit. Then, he's working on hacking Scientology? What else is Anonymous up to? Shit, I think he even wrote a book (Primary Colors). Busy guy.

Thursday 24th January 2008 | 02:57 PMWhile they're messing around, it would be great if they could take some of their data; 'donations', wealth, literature etc.
