You may remember an incident last week where several indigenous women were kicked out of their hotel room for having the wrong skin colour, or as one of the women involved put it: "weren't suitable to stay there".

Well an ex-employee of the Haven Backpacker Resort has come forward and says she was routinely advised to turn aboriginal people away while she worked there between July and October last year.

It doesn't look good for the hotel, but the joint owner says he will do a full investigation into the alleged discriminatory practices.
