Not to be outdone by their own advances and to put more pressure on AMD, Intel reckons 4 cores 'aint enough. 6 core CPU's cometh. There is enough technical information on this web page to satisfy uber geeks. Proceed with caution.

Wednesday 19th March 2008 | 08:48 AMI went to a Sun product launch in 2006 in which they claimed AMD would be bringing out 8-core systems in late 2008. I haven't heard anything from AMD to confirm this but I still think it would be cool. 6 cores, peh! I want 8!
