Actor Jason Beghe publicly quits Scientology

I can't wait to see the 'Church' of Scientology put a spin on this one, if they can. Actor Jason Beghe (Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, CSI) has publicly quit the aforementioned 'church' in outstanding fashion, going so far as to post a video on Youtube about it.

"My experience personally, and what I've observed for myself, is that Scientology is destructive and a rip-off."

Wow. Not a great video, coz it's pretty light on details about the problems and he comes across a little nuts :-P

Even still, will be interesting to watch their responses. If they're smart, they won't even bother.

These references to this man being a "little nuts" and "odd" are Scientology PR...attempting to make this actor appear crazy. It's a typical cult attack technique.

I was out trying to find it, and found this:

http://gawker.com/5006158/jason-beghes-anti+scientology-video-cancelled-in-youtubes-area

The Church of Scientology scored another victory on Google's YouTube, where administrators suspended the account of the church critic who recently posted a video interview with actor and former Scientologist Jason Beghe. The effect of the suspension is to break embedded copies of the video on sites like Gawker and to help muffle Beghe's criticism of the cult as financially and emotionally exploitive. At the moment, one other copy of the interview exists on YouTube, uploaded yesterday, but it's unclear how long that copy will live. After the jump, Gawker's own copy of the Beghe video, a video posted to YouTube about the account suspension, and comments from a tipster who thinks the suspension will be as temporary as YouTube's January yanking of Tom Cruise's Scientology indoctrination video.

Scientology critic and Xenu TV founder Mark Bunker's "xenutv1" account is no longer accessible on YouTube, and that's because it was suspended by the video-sharing service, according to an email tipster and to this slightly creepy video posted to YouTube under the account "xenutruth9:"

...in response to this comment by Rodney. He doesn't seem nuts to me, he seems like a clued up guy who has experienced some heavy shit and has decided to speak out about it. Feel sorry for the people who aren't rich and famous who have been through the same shit and have to deal with it without the comfort of having money etc.

Sounds like Scientology is one really messed up thing to get in to, and if I was Jason Beghe I would watch my back because those scientologists can get right nasty when someone speaks out against them or tries to leave.

Scary.

The guy doesn't sound crazy at all.. he sounds mad. And I would be too if I wasted a few years of my life and a boatload of money getting scammed by those a**holes.
