Complex crop circle discovered
Mikey 9 commentsThe worlds most complex (well hoaxed?) crop circle has been discovered in a barley field in England.
Measuring 45 metres in diameter, the crop circle is apparently represents the first ten digits of the mathematical formula for Pi - 3.141592654.
Astrophysicist Michael Reed said:
"The code is based on 10 angular segments with the radial jumps being the indicator of each segment. Starting at the centre and counting the number of one-tenth segments in each section contained by the change in radius clearly shows the values of the first 10 digits in the value of pi."
Alien landing mark? Or an elaborate hoax?

Monday 23rd June 2008 | 02:34 AM...in response to this comment by Debra. if you draw a circle on a 2 dimensional surface (like a piece of flat paper) the perimeter divided by the diameter equals to pi
this number is a special number because there is no other way to obtain it and the number of digits is infinite
also it is constant throughout the universe for any 2 dimensional circle (so aliens will know the same number for pi)

Tuesday 24th June 2008 | 03:43 AMOne of the guys in our badminton club, Bill, has this same looking sort of thing on his butt like a pimple instead of a crop circle. Phil, an engineer said itÂ’s got digital of Pi too. Bill has always talked about being abducted.
