A 12 year old New Zealand girl has voluntarily sent over 300 sexually explicit photos of herself over the internet, in an effort to gain credits on her gaming profile.

The girl's game account had been hacked resulting in the loss of her credits, and another gamer offered to restore the points she lost in return for the photos, which became more graphic each time.

An Interpol online child abuse investigator says there has been an alarming rise in self-taken child pornography. That statement should make every parent with a child on the internet worry. Not that all minors are doing this, but every parent would be surprised to learn this about their child, which means they really don't pay close enough attention to their online activities.
