Afro Ninja Movie

Afro Ninja Movie

Nearly every person who has been the centre of an internet video phenomena for the wrong reasons has lived to regret it. There's not much you can do once that humiliating video if you is out there, but on extremely rare occasions it can be turned in your favour. And on even rarer occasions you can base a movie on it.

And that's precisely what Mark A. Hicks, who you better know as the 'Afro Ninja' has done. Mark's embarrassing Nike Commercial audition video is embedded below to refresh your memory.

Mark's movie, titled 'Afro Ninja: Destiny' certainly looks incomplete, if the trailer below is anything to go by. There is no discernible story line and no narration as you would expect on any other movie trailer.

Some of the production actually looks good, so we could be seeing the early stages of the real deal. But it wouldn't be the first time someone has gone to monumental length for the purpose of a prank.

If it is real, the movie will probably suck arse, but I will be happy to see the guy get something positive out of his past shame.

While the fight scene was lame, it looks pretty alright.

I don't mind parody movies as long as they're martial arts based. Tongan Ninja was hillarious, it has Jermain Clemment from Flight of the Conchords.

When I was in highschool, I could do a sweet backflip, which was a move I practiced for the day when I scored a try on the footy field. Sadly, the day came and I was buggered after a five or six phase ruck and mall push up the field and once I scored the try, tried the move and ended up eating grass with a concussion. Oops.
