The first teaser for the upcoming new Terminator film is now online. Christian Bale plays the part of John Conner in Terminator Salvation, the next in the Terminator franchise which picks up several years after where Terminator 2 3 left off. Looks good so far.

I want to say what a bad idea I think this is and how much I am not going anywhere near it. I want to do that.
I would be lying after seeing that teaser. It's Bale and I will watch anything that man does. He is one of the great actors of our time.

we saw what happened with the star wars movies.. then there was the rambo and die hard installments.. (predator vs alien anyone?)
T3 was bad enough. lets see how crap this one will be

No I agree, Die Hard 4 was actually alright enough to watch, I liked the AvP and Star Wars movies and I tolerated Terminator 3.
Still, hollywood should STOP scraping the bottom of the barrel, the barrel is getting tired and sore!

but i hope bale can save the franchise. i think the whole idea in the terminator is a good one. T3 could have been great, but they blew it to pieces. die hard 4 was crap compared to die hard 3
look at lethal weapon 4. proof that good characters can be brought back again 3 times.
