Michael Moore to give away upcoming film
Mikey 4 commentsControversial film-maker Michael Moore seems to be sticking to his guns with regards to some comments he made in the past about file sharing. Moore plans to bypass the box office and release his upcoming film 'Slacker Uprising' online for free on September the 23rd, as a 'thank you' to his fans.
"This is being done entirely as a gift to my fans. The only return any of us are hoping for is the largest turnout of young voters ever at the polls in November."
The only catch, unless you are happy to watch it in Youtube crap-o-vision, is you have to prove you are a resident of the USofA. That said, from what I can tell all that is required is an email address, and I have just signed up for notification using my gmail account.

Monday 8th September 2008 | 07:57 AMAs this is a doco about voting in America I don't see why residents in other countries would be interested.

Are you kidding, I think everyone in the world is interesting in how the US has 500 million + people, many of them live in sub-par conditions and less than a million actually vote. We in the international community see the news of how bad it is for middle to lower class America and are astounded by the fact that the idiots dont care enough about their lives, their future and the future of their children to vote for it.

Unfortunately, despite all the hype and hoopla, there donsn't seem to be enough "slackers" to compensate for the "wakos."
