The universe is happy to see you
Mikey 10 commentsIf you looked at the sky about an hour ago you would have seen a pleasant surprise. Venus, Jupiter and a crescent moon formed a smiley face, the planets being the eyes and the moon being the mouth.
Us West Aussie's apparently had the best view of this natural phenomena, and I have to say it was a lot better than I expected.
So for those on the other side of the world, here is what it looked like for us with a five second exposure time. If I'm not mistaken this is the one and only time I'm going to see this in my life, unless Rodney messages me again in 2036 :-)

Thanks heaps for a photo! It was too cloudy where I live to see it.

Monday 1st December 2008 | 11:44 PMHaha thanks Mike. I was taking the dog for a walk and looked up and couldn't believe what I was seeing - a smiley face looking down at me! Being the nerd I am, I couldn't wait to get home and tell anyone else online to go outside and look up!
