Porn industry seeks $US5 Billion bail-out

Is the porn industry the last on the planet that should be asking for a bail-out? Maybe not.
Porn sultans Joe Francis and Larry Flynt reckon the financial crisis has affected America's libido and are asking for a $US5 billion bail-out package.
The way I see it, if the whole concept of the bail-out is to keep the economy and jobs alive, and if the figures stating the porn industry generates around 10 - 14 billion annually are true, there's no really justifiable reason to deny this proposal.
This might even be one package the tax payers wont mind getting behind (sorry).

Then again, they're subsidizing TV. BTW, epic last line there Mikey. I totally would've went there for my comment had you not beat me to it.

The Porn industries problem is that any idiot with a webcam or video camera can make porn and throw it online in so many places. I can't remember the last time I actually even considered buying porn when ther is so much available for free online. It like the difference between having sex for free or paying a sex worker for sex.

Friday 9th January 2009 | 04:00 AMI agree that is a problem with porn, anyone can do it. Though there is some good quality porn out there that even the ladies enjoy. I'll point you toward Wicked and Vivid Videos. Some of the funnier movies I've watched, and they are entertaining as well. The screwing sometimes seems an afterthought. I highly recommend Double Feature, Hercules, and Pirates 2. I haven't seen the first Pirates yet, I actually won the second in an online contest...
