Cop who tackled cyclist faces 4 year sentence

As many blogs reported last year, the Police officer who tackled a cyclist with unnecessary force unprovoked, went on to lie about what actually happened in his report. The incident was caught on video and Youtube ended up being an evidence host, as the footage was used to help indict Office Pogan last December.

Pogan's has now been officially charged with falsifying records although he is pleading not guilty. It doesn't look good for Pogan and witness statements combined with the video footage below look to easily find him guilty, and if that happens he faces up to 4 years in the slammer.

It also turns out that Pogan was fired last year in a statement issued by the Police department, but his Lawyer now says that he resigned. Who do you believe?

Cops...never around when you need them, and always around when you don't. Bad Cop! No Doughnut! I have a few cop friends, for the most part their good guys who want to do the right thing, uphold and enforce the law and be a hero in the process, there's nothing wrong with that.

Yes, some are heartless with attitudes, but they do have a tough job, personally I would prefer to deal with things in my way, but you just can't shoot people like you used to.

I kinda hope the 4 year sentence does get handed to him, because you can bet if there was no video evidence, the cyclist would have been charged and sentenced instead.
