Men who rape, in my opinion, automatically forfeit any fair treatment that might have been afforded them. And men who rape 4 year old girls automatically forfeit their right to live. I make no apologies when it comes to this sort of thing as you may know, and I wonder if those who oppose the death penalty would feel differently if it was their child who was raped, or if you are like me and are the son of a rape survivor. But luckily for this bastard I'm not the one making law.
A 24 year old 'man' pleaded guilty to breaking into a house and raping a 4 year old girl in 2007. With a guilty plea also comes jail time while you await your trial, which was 14 months for this monster.
But the Judge, who I would say was clearly smoking crack cocaine that day, says that's enough time served and has let the rapist walk free.
The shadow attorney-general Greg Smith is also pissed although he's a bit more diplomatic than I.
"I just can't understand what possesses someone to give such a light sentence"
Neither can I Mr Smith, considering the average punishment for such a crime is 10 to 25 years.
But as mentioned if I were making the decisions, this blog post would instead be about how friggin' sweet it is to put a pedophile rapist underground.

I dont condone or defend him, it was a cruel, terrible act that deserves a hasher sentence but im appalled that you would think of the death penalty.
If anything, hes getting off easy, why not make him work for society, some contribution after he has taken so much from this young girl.

Paedophiles are hard-wired that way and no amount if rehab will change them. Working for society isn't the worst option I've heard but you still leave the door open for them to re-offend, plus it's not exactly mush of a punishment.

Thursday 5th March 2009 | 12:11 PMThe Judge needs to be removed, as he has clearly lost his objectivity and sense of justice. There's something going on here that we're not being told. Regardless, this is clearly a display of incompetence on the Judge's part. As for the rapist, he needs to be placed into a mental facility to receive treatment for his pedophilia; and if he can't be cured, then he should have his penis removed. Lorena Bobbitt has experience in this area, and I'm sure she would do it for a nominal fee, if not for free.

there is a case in brazil at the moment where a 9 year old child has been repeatedly sexually assaulted from the age of 4 by her step-dad, and is now pregnant with twins. but given the chance.. he may change into a pillar of society too.

Friday 6th March 2009 | 09:40 AMMy wife is the Aussie equivalent of a CSI (though she works in the lab). She can tell you that there are far more ways to rape someone that just with your dick. Chopping it off or chemically castrating someone does not mean that the person can not rape again. There are fingers, hands, feet, blunt objects and worse that are used.
This is clearly not a case where justice has been done, I can't even contemplate how or why someone could commit rape, let alone on a 4 year old. This crime is severe and yet the sentence does not match the crime.
The guy is back on the streets, able to offend.

Removing a gun from a villain should prevent him from robbing a bank. Granted he still could do it, but it would be much more difficult. Depending on desperation, he probably won't do it as it is no longer an easy task.

Also, I felt it offered a better alternative than the death penalty, which I don't condone either. But to pass judgments on anyone who is APPALLED by this situation is just DISTURBING! : /

YES I AM APPALLED by the ones who think killing him is justifaction for rape, then others who want to remove is reproductive body parts? seriously, use your head, killing him not only makes you worse, he gets off easy. Removing his body parts just makes you look like animals.. Alternatively you could put him in a cell and get him to do various work, get armed guards to make him do physical work ie: clean-up's..

ppl like this should not be allowed in society, let alone near children again... do you remember a few years ago, an aboriginal man raped a 9 month old baby? this baby girl will never ever be able to have children because of what he did to her.. can you imagine the suffering he imposed on this child? i dont think anything will come close to what he did to her.. and if by removal of the entire genitalia of the animal that did this abbhorant crime to her (and god knows how many other women and children) can slow down or stop these crimes from happening, then im all for it.. id personally rather it be done with rubber bands (like in the practice of docking sheep tails) but hey.. thats just me.
rape is a disgusting and immoral act. never trivialise what it does to the victim, because that makes you as bad as the rapist
