Flight of the Conchords: No 3rd season :-(

The LA Times is reporting that we won't be seeing Bret and Jemaine return for a 3rd season of the much loved Flight of the Concords.
The show is definitely an acquired taste for those not familiar with the New Zealanders duos unique sense of dry humour, and if you haven't already seen the show I'd recommend hiring the first season on DVD.
At the very least you will get to hear some of the funniest lyrics to some very unique songs performed by the lads.
They had a good run, I'll admit, even at only 2 seasons.

Thursday 14th January 2010 | 02:04 AMI'm actually glad to hear that they won't be going a third season. The first season was awesome. I bought the Bust magazine with them on the cover. I went to see them live. The second season - I couldn't get past the first half of it. I think it's a good thing they are quitting before they recycle their schtick any further.
