Sarah Palin to become a Fox News Political Contributor

The happy people at Faux (pronounced ‘Fox’) News have brought the world some pretty spectacular people. From conservative republican fundamentalist Christian Bill O’Reilly, to fundamentalist Republican Christian conservative Brit Hume to Christian Republican conservative fundamentalist Glen Beck, Fox News has proven that they are literally bring diversity to un-bias world news.

In what some would call an obscure or ‘out-of-character’ move, Fox News has appointed conservative republican fundamentalist Christian and ex-vice presidential candidate Sarah “Maverick-Hot-Hockey-Mom” Palin to contribute to Fox’s currently under reported genera of political news.

People all around the world are talking about how much Palin will bring to Fox. I caught up with Bmippi, a 4 year-old Namibian boy who is currently malnourished and suffering with his compatriots from a nation-wide cholera outbreak. He said that he was ‘thrilled’ to hear that Palin would be joining Fox and remarked that he ‘simply can’t wait’ to see what se can bring to the team at Fox.

I did remark to Bmippi that Palin would, by intelligent people, be considered to be the wrong choice to consider for contributing to intelligent discussion on world politics, especially in light of her assertion that she had a strong foreign policy because on a clear day she could see Russia across the Baring Straight. Unfortunately, Bmippi was not available for further comment due to his commitments to CNN.

So, there you have it folks, just when you thought we’d finally seen the last of the old hot maverick, she squirts her way back onto the scene.

"I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at FOX News. It's wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news on how much Republicans rule and Barack Hussein Obama drools,'' Palin said in a Faux News statement.

I for one look forward to her commentary on the speculating whether it is too early to speculate speculation about speculating who they speculate might win ‘this’ or ‘that’. Such discussion should be riveting television worthy of no less than seven thousand Oscar nominations.

Peace, Nation!

is anyone surprised? Fox is justifying their reputation. They pander to the worst of American culture and yet still claim to be 'balanced'. What a farce.

What this really looks like is a way for Palin to stay in front of her core for the next three years before she resigns at Fox to run for office again.

Ok, firstly, who the feck decided Sarah Palin was hot huh? I'm sorry but she never has, nor will she ever do anything for me. Maybe it has something to do with the Paris Hilton effect, you know, where a woman is so dumb, so annoying and so inappropriate that it actually blinds you to how good or not she looks!!! (or you just don't care...)

But seriously Jake, I have all but given up on the yanks as a nation, (sorry my American friends, I love YOU really) I mean any nation that votes a guy like George W Bush into power (legitimately or not) doesn't have much hope or credibility now does it?

Did you really expect anything less from the always accurate and honest Faux Network???

Here are a couple of my fave dumb Palin quotes off the net, just for laughs...

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending soldiers out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan."
Sarah Palin - On Iraq war, speaking to students at the Wasilla Assembly of God, June 2008.

"When I hear a statement like that coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism, or maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think, "Man, that doesn't do us any good, women in politics, or women in general, trying to progress this country."
Sarah Palin - On complaints from Hillary Clinton's campaign about sexist coverage in race for The White House, Spring 2008.

...in response to this comment by Jake Farr-Wharton. What are you becoming? A okie from the faux-ky?

Oh, boy, your immaturity slip is totally showing, Jake.

One day, when you're all growed up, you'll be turned off completely by faux regardless of how good the one wearing it might look to you.

But today is....

...not that day.

You really scare me.

...in response to this comment by Gina Squitieri. Gina,

Firstly, it is 'grown up' not 'growed up'.

Secondly, if growing up means you are required to disconnect from your creativity, sexuality, sense of humor and cynicism, then I don't bloody want to!

You only have one chance to experience all that you can in this life, why not 'jump' when it looks like it's going to be a great ride?

Peace Gina.
