Nokia CEO apologises for the N97

I'm not sure how I missed this news (probably the fact we still don't have an internet connection at home!), but better late than never.

It turns out I wasn't the only one experiencing all those horrid problems on the Nokia N97, with the CEO of the company apologising for the piece of crap that it is. Maybe he saw my video :-)

Anssi Vanjoki apologised about the experience that consumers have had with the Nokia N97 and is aware that the user experience is poor, the software is plagued with bugs and they were slow to release an update with the necessary improvements (which introduced more bugs anyway).

While he is at it I would also like to see him apologise for the OVI store.

Not that it matters now. I dumped the phone a few weeks ago and bought a Motorola Droid running Android 2.1, and so far I have no complaints.

Take that, Nokia.

could be waiting a while for them to look at the phone...according to customer care at vodafone it can take 5 days! to fax a proof of purchase thru to the store where i took my phone in for repair.
5 days to send a fax..................
