Dr Who: How the theme was made

Call me a nerd, because this is almost a nerdy as it gets. Despite its age this eight minute video is interesting to watch none-the-less.

In this video, Peter Howell shows us how he created the Dr Who television series intro theme. Although Howell didn't write the original music, he was tasked with breathing life into it, and thus was born the iconic Dr Who theme that we are all so familiar with today.

So watch with awe, as I did.

I wonder how much an original 7" vinyl pressing of the single edition of Howell's version would fetch these days? I do believe I have one lying around somewhere... ;)
