Bill Gates and Steve Jobs rare candid interview

For the first time in 20 years, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs put their differences aside and shared stage to talk about the history of both companies, and the events that led them to become business associates, and eventually business competitors.

It's great to see the bigwigs behave so well around each other and still have enough sense of humour to take make fun of themselves.

A classic quite from Steve Jobs: "Apple is like a ship with a hole in the bottom, leaking water. And my job is to get the ship pointed in the right direction."

Wow.

This was interesting on a number of levels. Aside from the change of stance and the ability to watch MS grow from a small organisation into the huge multiglobal, over time, I found it interesting how much Bill Gates aged over that time period too. In the mid nineties he looked *so much* younger than the late nineties.

Thats just begging for the 'Hi, I'm a Mac...and I'm a PC' treatment.
