A look inside the shrine of ignorance
Mikey 20 commentsIf you thought it curious enough that thirty one million dollars of venture capital funding could be raised to build what essentially equates to a shrine of ignorance, then just wait until you see what's inside.
Blue Grass Roots took a tour of the Creationist Museum (please don't take the term 'museum' seriously) and it's ever bit as propagandous as expected.
Logic, science, reason and evidence are cast aside in favour of blatant propaganda. The pictures below will blow your mind.

Tuesday 26th June 2007 | 02:34 PMI don't know whether it can be construed as harsh, afterall, the evolutionists etc believe what they do based evedence and philosophy whereas creationists base their believe on a book of stories and parables.
One side has evolved over and over through time, encouraging free thought, challenging idea, thought and text, the other has remained bogged down in theocracy and supersticious dogma, discouraging questions and challenging belief.
Science and evolutionism is in it's own right is an evolution or step forward from creationism, they are not paralell beliefs.

Saturday 30th June 2007 | 12:23 PMSo Where did life first start?
You are right because you are arrogant?
Evoloution is as stupid a theory as creation is, you believe it because it serves you
And the same for the opposite side is true for you.
devil's advocate
Saturday 7th July 2007 | 07:55 PMmichael - didnt i just read in one of your other articles that you are a jew?
please explain to me why you would bother being one? given the acid and vitriol that your above article is dripping?
the only authority a god can have over you is that he made you, surely? otherwise, why believe in him at all? if he didnt make you what right does he have to tell you what to do, and how can he fix or save you by one day sending a messiah?
since clearly all this creation "crap" is complete bollocks according to you... doesn't that kinda rip the ass-end completely out of your so-called religious belief system?
think about it
"come let us reason together"

The truth about Gilley
Tuesday 15th January 2008 | 12:46 AMGilley, be it a man or woman is a plant working for the Institute for Creation Research and The Center for Science Creation. He/She is paid to monitor this and several other sites, and create as much disruption as possible.
She does not use he own system of critical thought, and literally has no original though of her own. If you look closely, and do some research, you will see that all of her points, issues, and questions come from sites written by Walt Brown and Dr Gerald Lenner. Her plagiaristic and unoriginal work can be clearly demonstrated in the thread: https://rustylime.com/show_article.php?id=1106, where she represents this list of of questions as being her own http://www.drdino.com/articles.php?spec=76
Gilley, we free thinkers do not welcome your style or tactics. I am going to make it my personal crusade to expose you where is see your post. Change your screen name as often as you like, but you I.P. address and server I.D. will always make you easy to find
What ever credibility you did have is now gone
bye
Sincere regards,
Gillon

I am rocked to the core, you have seen through my thin veil of deception. Time to ditch my alter ego of a mundane Air con salesman and Family man, don my super cape and fly off to somewhere.
You are a real nutter, Fella.
Yes you are correct I do use a search engine and the internet to find justification for my beliefs,
You clever little possum.

Wednesday 4th August 2010 | 06:21 PMThe test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions. Some well-meaning, but misguided people think evolution is a reasonable theory to explain mans questions about the universe. Evolution is not a good theoryit is just a pagan religion masquerading as science.
10 Questions to Ask Evolutionists:
1. Where did the space for the universe come from?
2. Where did matter come from?
3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)?
4. How did matter get so perfectly organized?
5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing?
6. When, where, why, and how did life come from non-living matter?
7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself?
8. With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce?
9. Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain the origin of reproduction?)
10. How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.)
Ive got many more where this came from, but lets start with these ten.
Yes its a cut and paste of Kent Hovinds work
I might repost if it doesnt receive a decent reply
Be nice if the BiG science heads can rid me of my silly creation beliefs with answers

Lets all make fun of Christians, just dont give them the chance to respond in public
...in response to this comment by Gilly. Questions Gilly:
Does god listen to your prayers? Does he Guide you? Does he speak to you? Does he either act on or choose not to act on your prayers?
Serious Question...

Monday 25th June 2007 | 12:55 PMMichael, thanks for the post. Both the weekend Australian and Sunday Mail (QLD courier mail - sunday edition) had articles on the same, both having taken a tour recently.
In the end though, they both made the point that in the end, logic always prevails, whether it is blind logic (faith), or learned logic (science) is completely up to the inherritor of the beleif system.
