The Commodore is keeping up with you

Remember the Commodore 64? 128? The Amiga? Or even the Vic 20? I cut my teeth programming BASIC on the C64 more than 20 years ago and started using my first graphics apps (Deluxe Paint!) on the Amiga 500 not long after.

Well it seems you can't keep a good company down. Commodore are soon releasing a new series of gaming rigs, and sticking with the 'C' brand we will see the Cg, Cgs, Cgx, and Cxx. All four can be customised to your gaming requirements. I wonder if you still need a tape loader...?

Full specs and details on this Newswire Press Release.

What's the caper with these things?

Look at the logos of the stuff it has in it:
*SATA
*Intel Core 2 Due
*nVidia Ultra 8800
*Frikkin Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate

It's not a Commodore. It's a normal Windows PC with "C=" draw on the side of the box.

You think they'd at least use AMD processors... then they could call it a Commodore 64 ;-)
