More than half of America doesn't know about online scams
Mikey 2 commentsIt's quite a disturbing statistic, especially in a time when you would have thought most connected people to be more tech savvy.
According to the study, 58% of Americans don't even know that online threats exist, and 17% of them had fallen victim to some sort of Internet scam or another.
Of the 17%, 81% of them were tricked because the emails or companies that scammed them had a nice logo.
