It would seem the mobile phone market is about to face it's greatest competition among rivals in years. Apple's iPhone has undoubtedly changed market perception and the consumer demands more from their portable devices today.

Google are rumoured to be working with Orange to release a (gPhone), and today I received a news feed that Peter Ahnegard of Sony Ericsson has allegedly 'confirmed' a PlayStation-branded gaming phone will arrive by Christmas, but he didn't say which Christmas.

If that isn't enough to keep us happy, Nokia have hinted at an iPhone clone due out next year. File that one under 'tentative' for now.
