Spielberg robbed, Indy IV temporarily compromised

In what was obviously a planned robbery, the offices of one Steven Spielberg was broken into and relieved of several computers, which contained thousands of production stills for the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

The thieves, as dumb as they are, began contacting online movie sites and offered to sell the goods at the reasonable price of $2000. With the aid of the online community, the FBI were able to arrest the thieves after a sting operation.

Why didn't they just send Indy? He is the obtainer of rare antiquities.
